faculty and staff

Country Montessori School has a dedicated staff of teachers, assistants, enrichment, and administrative personnel who are passionate about and committed to the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of our students.

Open communication, teamwork, peer coaching, and continuous education in child/brain development and Montessori credentialing are core values of the Country Montessori employee team.

All of our classroom lead directresses are Montessori-credentialed while the others are in the practicum phase of their credential.  Our classroom and childcare assistants attend a Montessori Assistants workshop presented by the Houston Montessori Center, an AMS-accredited training center.  All CMS full-time employees are required to have a minimum of 16 hours of formal continuous education every year.

Country Montessori has a strong legacy of promoting from within and providing personal and professional growth opportunities for employees who are dedicated to guiding children in an authentic Montessori environment.  The average tenure of our teaching staff at CMS is 9.5 years with many of them having started as assistants in our school.

Staff development is a priority for the CMS Administration as our school’s strength and success depends on our people, our program, and the partnership we build with our parents.
