Montessori Center for Teacher Education

 

For over forty-five years, the Montessori Center for Teacher Education (San Diego) has been educating Montessori teachers for Early Childhood, Elementary I, Elementary I – II and, most recently, Elementary II.   As the program grew it became known for its academic rigor, thoroughness, and authentic approach to Montessori education. 

At this time, the Montessori Center for Teacher Education is pleased to announce that the program will continue in the San Diego regional area under new ownership and at a new location. Beginning June 1, 2021, the program will be under the direction of Adela Corrales, Director of Country Montessori School, and will be located on its campus in Poway, California.

All adult learners who have completed the academic phase of their credential will remain currently enrolled and will complete their credential under Adela’s leadership. Due to the change in ownership and location, classes will not be offered in 2021. Look for new courses to begin in 2022 detailed in the new upcoming website. We look forward to continued success for the Montessori Center for Teacher Education in the years ahead.
