Parent Education Night

Thank you to all those who attended our education night last Thursday. We hope it was informative and that you enjoyed your experience.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8. The week of October 21st, sign up’s for these days will be made available, with more detailed information coming soon. These are very special days where you will meet with your teachers and hear about your child’s progress and experiences at school. You will receive your child’s report card the Wednesday before on your RenWeb parent portal. Should you need child care during your conference or the entire day, we will be offering it and sign up’s for that will be out shortly.

Below is a list of all our after school class offerings organized by day of the week.

Monday: Early Childhood – Art, Dance to Evolve, K-5 – Lego Robotics

Tuesday: Early Childhood – Cooking, Elementary – Art, Endangered Rangers

Wednesday: Early Childhood/ Elementary – Baton

Thursday: Early Childhood – Ooey Gooey Science, Playball, Elem. – Playball

Friday: Early Childhood/ Elementary – Yoga

CMS Web-store Open!

We are pleased to announce that the CMS web-store is open. The new CMS web store is open year round, so anytime you wish to purchase a CMS t-shirt, you may do so. Shirt sizes range from Toddler to Adults, so any family member can purchase a shirt.

We will pick up all orders once they are ready and have them available for you to pick up at CMS every 7-14 days (dependent on how many orders we have).

Other items such as CMS tote bags, and sweatshirts/hoodies will be available in the near future.

CMS Walk-a-thon

We are very excited to be hosting our annual CMS Walk-a-thon on Wednesday November 20th. The Walk-a-thon is a fun and exciting way for students and families to get involved and help support our fundraising efforts for additional school security upgrades and new technology for the computer lab.

We Need All Parents to Complete 3 Easy Steps!

Register your child by visiting Get Movin Fund Hub Its free, easy, and fast to register!

Email and/ or Text your child’s student fundraising web-page with 10 – 20 friends and family. It’s super easy!
Post on Facebook or Twitter It’s just two clicks of a button to post. The average parent has 300 FB friends. You’ll be surprised when donations come in from distant relatives/ friends from HS/co-workers. Post and see what happens!
We will be using FundHub (Get Movin’ Fundraising) to manage all our Walk-a-thon donations. Each family will need to register their child(ren) at Get Movin’ Fund Hub. Fill out your contact information, our school code (school identifier) is auto populated when you use the hyperlinks. Once registered you can customize your individual fundraising page, adding personalized message, pictures or a fun video. Use the Family Share option to share multiple student pages through a single message. Donations can be made by credit card directly through the student Walk-a-thon page. Check donations are also accepted and can be turned in directly to the CMS office. We hope that every family will participate and share their student pages.

Any family who sets up their child’s Walk-a-thon page before October 25th will receive 1 service hour, just for registering early (1 hr max per family).
