David Sheehan is President, CEO and a Director of VOZ Sports, Inc. Prior, he was President, CEO and a Board Director at Digirad Corporation (Nasdaq:DRAD). David has extensive experience in medical and consumer products. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Currently, he sits on the board of Timely Medical and teaches a class on Starting and Financing Technology Companies at UCSD Extension.
is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Olympus-CTA, the wireless communications R&D center for Olympus Corp. He leads the development of state-of-the-art wireless communication and networking devices for consumer electronic and medical equipment. In addition, he teaches cellular and digital communication courses at UCSD. Previously, he was at Nokia, designing and developing cellular phone systems. He holds a BSEE from Michigan State University, and an MSEE and a Ph.D from Purdue University. Dr. Heidari has numerous patents granted and filed and technical papers published, was nominated San Diego's technical leader of the year by teleFUSION 03, served for two years as chairman of San Diego chapter of IEEE's (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) Vehicular Technology Society, and is an amateur radio operator. With 2 children at CMS, he is dedicated to helping CMS achieve its potential as the best Montessori school in San Diego County.
is the Vice President of Human Resources for Intuit, maker of QuickBooks, Quicken and TurboTax. She supports the company's second largest business, TurboTax, with the goal of building a high performance organization and creating a great place to work. Caryl is also the Human Resources site leader of over 1,100 Intuit employees in San Diego. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Redlands University, and has over 20 years experience in San Diego's HR community within the banking, insurance and high-tech industries. Her son Cole (age 5) is in kindergarten at CMS and his little sister Avery (age 3) is just beginning her first year in the primary program. Caryl's husband Bill is an R&D manager at Eastman Kodak's San Diego Systems Division.
Ted Slocomb is currently Director, New Product Planning for the largest biotechnology company in San Diego. He has worked for 15 years in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, for start-ups as well as Fortune 500 companies, in the areas of strategic planning, business development, product marketing, finance and venture capital. He joined the CMS board in order to contribute his strategic planning skills and perspective as parent new to CMS to help the school successfully fulfill its mission of leadership in Montessori education. His goals as a Board member are to assist the Board with the development of a strong and actionable plan for the future development and growth of the school and to take advantage of the school’s San Diego location, parent network and the Montessori philosophy to enhance science education opportunities for CMS students. He and his wife, Malgorzata, have one child at CMS at the Primary level.
Ted earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Sam has two children currently enrolled at CMS. The older is in fifth grade and the youngest in first. He moved to the United States from Syria as a teenager and worked his way through college majoring in mechanical engineering. Sam is currently working on a B.S in business marketing. In addition he owns and operates his flooring business. Sam loves working with children and continues to educate himself on understanding their needs to better serve them and the school on the board of directors as the executive secretary. He enjoys coaching his children's soccer teams as well as playing the game and refereeing.

Annemargaret a San Diego native is founder and President of Child Care Companions, the Nanny Source. A Child Development Specialist since 1993, Annemargaret holds degrees in Behavior Science and Child Development. She is active in a number of organizations and serves as chair in an organization of 500 members.
Prior to founding Child Care Companions, Annemargaret worked a number of years at Miramar College guiding future primary educators while encouraging the children to develop and grow. She is a Credentialed Site Supervisor through the State of California. This allows her to continue working in the classrooms at CMS with the children as a substitute whenever needed.
From 1993, she and her husband Gary proudly watched two nephews and a niece complete their primary through elementary education at CMS. Their son became a student in 2002. Since becoming a part of the CMS family, she has managed and enjoyed volunteering whenever needed. She is willing to accept a challenge from being an ambassador to chairing the 2006 annual fundraiser.
Elected to the board of Trustees in 2006, Annemargaret serves on the Institutional Advancement Committee.

Terrence is the first recipient of the M.S. degree in Computational Science
within the California State University system and also holds B.S. degree in
Applied Mathematics from San Diego State University. He has been employed
at the San Diego Supercomputer Center and Nasa Ames and is currently working
in Rancho Bernardo for a national defense contractor.
is the Business Planning and Strategy Manager for the Imaging and Printing Services Group, Americas at Hewlett Packard. Raj joined HP as a senior financial analyst in 1996 and from there moved on to a variety of roles within Treasury, Corporate Strategy, and World Wide Corporate Sales groups. During this time, he has had broad exposure to topics including new product introduction, new business model creation, M&A valuations, budgeting and forecasting, contract negotiations, pricing and profitability analysis. Prior to HP, Raj worked for a Swiss-Swedish multinational called Asea Brown Boveri.
Raj has a MBA in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a BBA from University of Houston (graduated summa cum laude). Aside from the formal degree qualifications, Raj holds the CFA charter. The CFA charter is the designation of excellence in the investment community.
Raj has been associated with CMS since moving to San Diego in 2004. He and his wife, Prerna, have two daughters. Both girls have been part of the CMS family.
Haibo Zhu
Haibo has two children attending Country Montessori School. His son, Patrick, is in Eagle, and his daughter, Shannon, is in Dragonfly. Haibo is currently working for IBM as a foundry application engineer. He has been working as an IC (Integrated Circuit) designer since for 16+ years. His previous employments include as a consultant and a field application engineer for Accsilicon Technology inc., as a senior staff engineer at Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation, as an advisory engineer at IBM San Diego Design Center, as a senior engineer at Metaflow Technology Inc., which later became part of SGS-Thomson Microelectronics, as a member of technical staff at Vittesse Semiconductor Corporation. In addition to those, he has served as a founder and CEO of a startup company, LinkStar Microelectronics Inc. for a year. Haibo holds a MSEE degree from Purdue University and a BSEE degree from China.
is a Management Consultant specializing in driving Business Improvements through Strategy Planning, System Development and Implementation and Business Process Re-Engineering. Her previous work experiences include Senior Manager of Consulting Services at Ernst & Young, LLP and Director of CRM Consulting at Oracle Corporation. She has been a speaker at Oracle hosted conferences and OAUG (Oracle Application User Group conferences) and has facilitated CRM panels. She holds a Masters Degree in Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has a 4 year old daughter at CMS. She has been an active Circle of Friends officer and co-chaired the 2007 school auction. Uma is dedicated to helping CMS achieve its full potential!
Deven Parlikar has been on the Board of Directors of CMS since Nov 2006 and is a father of three children, Mallika, Meera and Eshaan, who attend Country Montessori School. Deven is the President and CEO of Avantiya Health, Inc., a company that operates medical diagnostic centers in India and the United Arab Emirates. Deven has a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from San Diego State University and an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at University of California, Irvine. In his past experience, Deven was the Executive Director and CEO of the Indian Health Council, Inc. (IHC), a health and human services agency serving Native Americans and Alaska Natives residing in San Diego County. During his 8 year tenure at IHC, Deven had the opportunity to oversee two capital campaigns to construct new clinic facilities, a 52000 sf primary care center on the Rincon Indian Reservation and a 9000 sf satellite clinic on the Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation in northeast San Diego County.
As a political appointee, Deven has served on the White House Council on Minority Health and more recently on the State of California’s Council for Multicultural Health. As WHO/USAID consultant on human rights, Deven has assisted the governments of South Africa and Botswana in developing public health programs aimed at reducing the incidence of HIV disease among their population. Deven currently serves on the board of directors of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome in Washington, D.C.
Deven brings his experience in running fundraising and capital campaigns to help CMS raise funds for its new facility. He attributes his daughter Meera’s recovery from brain cancer to the care, love and support given to her by her teachers and friends at CMS and considers his work on the board as a token of his gratitude to the staff, children and parents who have become his family’s partners in helping Meera regain her physical, emotional and intellectual strength.
