Past themes include: Safari, Under the Sea, Dinosaur Discoveries, Scales & Tails, Blast Off to Space, Down on the Farm and Crafty Creations.

Enrolled CMS students and their siblings have priority for Early Childhood camps. Other families are welcome to ask about open spots. Snacks and filtered water are provided, and rest time after lunch is available.

Every summer · Two weeks

Adventure Camp

Our two-week Adventure Camp is a CMS tradition for elementary students. Each morning starts around the campfire with songs and the day's plan, then campers take on challenges that build responsibility, courage and respect for nature.

  • Setting up camp, campfire safety, knot tying and survival skills
  • Basic first aid, arts and crafts and team challenges
  • A rock-climbing wall and jumper day on campus
  • An overnight campout on the CMS campus, with dinner, dessert and breakfast
  • The famous “Eat a Bug” challenge, and leaving no trace when we pack up

Enrollment is for both weeks. One parent attends the overnight campout with their child, and the camp includes an extra fee for special activities and camp-out supplies.
