Child Care may be available on Dec. 26, 27, 28, Jan. 2, 3 & 4 – if minimum sign up is met.
Winter Break Child Care
CMS will be closed for winter break Monday December 24th through Friday January 4th. Child Care may be offered on Wednesday Dec. 26th, Thursday Dec. 27th, Friday Dec. 28th, Wednesday Jan. 2nd, Thursday Jan. 3rd and Friday Jan. 4th if we have a minimum of 20 students sign up for child care. If you would like to sign up please email Jose Bolanos to inform him which days you would like and if you need half day (less than 5 hours – $25) or full day (over 5 hours – $45). Please contact Jose no later than Friday Dec. 14th if you need to sign up for winter break child care.
CMS Walk-A-Thon
Our Annual Walk-A-Thon donation period is coming to a close. We ask that all paper pledge forms along with collected donations be submitted by December 7th. Our online donation page will close on December 10th.
Students and families have done a great job of helping support CMS by getting sponsors and donations. As of today we are at 53% of our overall school fundraising goal for our walk-a-thon with about half of our students having at least one donation registered. No contribution is too small, every bit helps CMS invest in security upgrades, new lunch tables and the Building Our Future campaign.
If you have not signed up for a free online donation page there is still time simply click here. You will be prompted to create a free account. Once you create your account, log in and from the home page you will click +ADD STUDENT. Here you will type in Country Montessori School for the school name, select either Early Childhood or Elementary, then select your classroom, input your child’s name/ gender. A student goal and fundraising message will auto populate but you are welcome to edit the message to create your unique personal message. You are also able to upload a photo. When all the information is complete you will click ADD.
Once a student is added it creates a unique Walk-A-Thon page for each child. This page can be shared with family and friends via Facebook, Twitter, email or by simply copying the website address and texting it to friends and family.
Donations can be made by credit card directly through the student Walk-A-Thon page.
Best of all it can all be done from your phone!
