CMS Walk-A-Thon

Our Annual Walk-A-Thon is just around the corner. It looks like many of you have already registered for your Walk-A-Thon pages. If you have not signed up there is still time. We hope that you will help support CMS by creating your Walk-A-Thon page and sharing it with your friends and family. If you would prefer a paper pledge sheet send me an email.

Each family will need to register their child(ren) at The Get Movin Crew, simply click here then select get registered parent login . You will be prompted to create a free account. Once you create your account, log in and from the home page you will click +ADD STUDENT. Here you will type in Country Montessori School for the school name, select either Early Childhood or Elementary, then select your classroom, input your child’s name/ gender. A student goal and fundraising message will auto populate but you are welcome to edit the message to create your unique personal message. You are also able to upload a photo. When all the information is complete you will click ADD.

Once a student is added it creates a unique Walk-A-Thon page for each child. This page can be shared with family and friends via Facebook, Twitter, email or by simply copying the website address and texting it to friends and family.

Donations can be made by credit card directly through the student Walk-A-Thon page.

Best of all it can all be done from your phone!

On the day of the the Walk-A-Thon

Ensure students wear comfortable walking shoes. Remember, THIS IS NOT A RACE, but a way for students to have fun and raise money for their school. Walkers will complete their laps on school grounds. CMS staff will be keeping track of the number of laps each student walks. After the event, all the students will be provided fresh fruit and water.

Families are invited to come and cheer on our walkers/ runners and take photos at the Walk-A-Thon. Early childhood will take their turn from 10 am – 10:45 and Elementary will go 10:45 – 11:30. After each group takes their turn they will return to their classrooms for fresh fruit and water.
