Hello CMS Families!
We are excited to update you on our Auction for this year, and ask for your support. In this letter you will find details on the event, your role in the auction, participation for each family as it relates to procurement, and opportunities for service hours. This is a very special year; CMS is celebrating its 30th year. In addition to being a major CMS fundraiser, the Annual Auction & Dinner Benefit is also our party, our investment, and our change to show support for this unique school that we love. Thank you in advance for all of your efforts toward a successful event!
Save the date for this year’s auction: Saturday May 11th, hosted here at Country Montessori School
Festivities include: silent auctions, live auction, dinner, drinks, 50/50 opportunity drawing
Kids Event include: jumping castles, outside games, special presentation, pizza party

Procurement & Donations:
The success of our event depends on the quality of items we have to auction, and your role is incredibly important to making this happen. Assisting with donation procurement is a fun and easy way to earn service hours on your schedule and help support our fundraising efforts. There are lots of creative ways to procure items.
Hard copies of our our “Procurement Packet” which includes several documents to support you in your procurement efforts, can be made available by contacting Jose Bolanos.

If you are out in the community and have an opportunity to ask for an auction donation, please do! Many local businesses, especially the larger ones (think hotels, B&B’s, restaurants, etc.) have policies that they’ll only donation to fundraisers for organizations in the communities they serve. So, for example, if you are out to dinner at a restaurant you frequent, consider speaking to the manager and asking if they would donate a gift card to support the CMS auction event.
Once you procure an item, please bring it to the CMS office. Even if you don’t physically have the item, or if the item is an intangible experience (like a certificate for a stay), please fill out the Auction Procurement Form and turn it in to the office so that we can track and account for it.
Our procurement deadline is Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Ask us for ideas; ask us for help, and thank you for your support.
So much of what we do at CMS is only made possible through the hard work and dedication of all our amazing CMS families. Thank you for your participation. We look forward to a great event!
