CMS will be closed for President’s Week Monday February 18th through Friday February 22nd. Child care is available on Tuesday Feb. 19th, Wednesday Feb. 20th, and Thursday Feb 21st. If you would like to sign up please email Jose Bolanos to inform him which days you would like and if you need half day (less than 5 hours – $25) or full day (over 5 hours – $45).
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 7th and 8th. On Wednesday March 6th your child’s report will be available through your RenWeb portal at 4:00 pm.
The Focus of these conferences is your child’s overall development. They also afford time to share any issues or concerns you may have. Conferences should open the door to effective communication between parents and teachers. Children should not attend the conference so that the discussion may be completely open.
Conferences are twenty minute sessions. In consideration of your child’s teacher and other families, please be prompt. These non-instructional days are set aside especially for these conferences and the teachers put a lot of time and effort into preparing each child’s report. If you should miss the conference, it will not be rescheduled.
Child care is being offered for full-day ($45), for a half-day ($25), or for the conference only (free). You must sign up in advance to allow CMS to staff accordingly. To sign up for child care please email Jose Bolanos email@example.com to let him know if you will need full-day, half-day or child care only during your conference.
We will be utilizing online conference registration for Parent Teacher Conferences for all levels and families. You will receive an email from Jose with a link to each classroom’s conference sign up page. You will need to input a parent’s name, student’s name and an email address. You will automatically receive a reminder email two days before your scheduled conference.
Email with sign up links will be sent as follows:
Friday February 15th – Families with multiple students
Tuesday February 19th – All Families
Please keep in mind that conference times fill up fast, be sure to sign up at your earliest convenience.
