Enrollment for 2021-2022 School Year
We are actively enrolling new students, and processing re-enrollment for returning CMS students. Families planning on returning for the 2021-2022 school year should log into their FACTSMgt (RenWeb) Parent Portal to submit your child’s enrollment packet. If you have any questions or need any assistance please reach out to Jose Bolanos. If you do not intend to return for the 2021-2022 school year please inform Jose.

CMS Summer Camp
Summer camps are starting to fill up. If you are interested in enrolling for one of our dynamic camps be sure to fill out your registration packet at your earliest convenience. At this time Week 4 of both Early Childhood and Elementary Camp are FULL. A few other weeks are close to being full so if you are planning to attend summer camp please sign up as soon as possible.
Early Childhood – Cricket Camp
Montessori Center for Teacher Education
We are very excited to announce that on June 1, 2021 the transfer of ownership of the Montessori Center for Teacher Education will be final. Country Montessori will be the AMS training center in the San Diego region area. The training program will be launching in the summer of 2022. We are thrilled to be able to train, mentor and share our experience as Montessori educators with adult learners that aspire to become Montessori teachers.
CMS Annual Auction Fundraiser
Last Saturday was our 21st Annual Auction that was held online for the first time! We are so fortunate to have so many amazing families support our school by donating to the classroom bundles, purchasing auction items, as well as making direct donations. We are thankful for your participation and want to say thank you for all your support for helping make CMS a wonderful community.
As always, we are grateful for your support and for being a part of the Country Montessori School community. Your generous donations will be directly invested into the classrooms, campus security and school enhancements for our students.
5th Level and Kindergarten Graduation
CMS will be hosting 5th level and kindergarten graduation ceremonies onsite this school year on June 15th. We will be following the California Department of Public Health guidance for Commencement/Graduation Ceremonies. Specific information and procedures about the day will be shared in the near future as finalizations are complete. See the following graduation times below (Kindergarten classes had to be staggered to accommodate county guidelines).

- Kindergarten Dragonflies-10-10:30
- Kindergarten Bumblebees-11-11:30
- 5th Levels-12:30-2:00
Downtime Week – June 21-25
Child Care will be available, however, you will need to let us know if your child(ren) will be attending by Friday, June 11th. No drop-ins are allowed. If you would like to sign up please email Susan at susank@countrymontessori.org to let her know which days you would like and if you will need half-day (less than 5 hours – $25) or full-day (over 5 hours – $45).
Child care is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. In keeping with our COVID-19 policies and procedures, arrival times remain the same during downtime with 7:30-8:40 being the window for drop off.
Illness and Symptom Communication
This time of year seems to be bringing runny noses, congestion, sniffles and allergy like symptoms, please see the most recent Decision Tree below and should your student have any of the symptoms please follow the steps listed:
- Make administration and your teachers know if your student is not feeling well either by email or phone call
- Provide your students PCR COVID test results to Ms. Corrales at adelac@countrymontessori.org
- With a negative test result, your student may return to school 24 hours after the test was administered and the symptoms have started improving
We appreciate your understanding and patience in assisting us comply with the current county requirements and keeping our community healthy.
Mask Requirement and Other School COVID-19 Requirements
Our school will continue to adhere to state and local requirements, which continue to require the use of face coverings by all individuals while on school property. We are aware that California will be sending out updated information in June. We will keep you informed on any changes that may impact school operations.
